Prerequisites for working with Hal E-Bank

BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR WORKING WITH HAL E-BANK

To work with Hal E-Bank you need:

  1. A computer with installed and functional operating system Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10.

  2. Installation CD or installation file for Hal E-Bank,
  3. Electronic certificate issued by Halcom BG CA,
  4. Program for reading Halcom BG CA electronic certificates, Nexus Personal,
  5. Connection with the server of e-bank (LAN or Dial-up internet connection),
  6. If your electronic certificate is on a smart card, you need an installed and functioning smart card reader,
  7. A contract with your bank about using Halcom solutions for e-banking.

Internet connection. In the case of connecting via modem, it is necessary that the modem supports a minimum transfer rate of 14,400 bps, but it is recommended to use a permanent connection (LAN).
Available USB port for the smart card reader.

1.2 SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

To set the software requirements you need the appropriate permissions, or to contact your system administrator. It is recommended that EVER done off the antivirus software. It is recommended to turn off your antivirus protection during the adjustment.

  • Connection to the internet must be stable no matter the method of connection. If the connection is dial-up, the user must set the connection and enable the unrestricted access to the Internet.
  • Modem, mouse and a smart card reader must be set for different IRQ channels (Interrupt request).
  • Installed and functioning internet search engine Microsoft Internet Explorer version 9.0 or newer.
  • Installed and functioning Adobe Acrobat Reader or Adobe Acrobat X version10.0 or newer version.
  • Set time zone to GMT+1.
  • Set Regional settings to Serbian Latin on all workstations.

2. INSTALLATION OF HAL E-BANK

3. ELECTRONIC CERTIFICATE ISSUED BY HALCOM BG CA

You can order your Qualified electronic certificate issued by Halcom BG CA, from your bank or directly from Halcom BG CA. More information about ordering can be found HERE.

4. PROGRAM FOR READING  HALCOM CERTIFICATES, NEXUS PERSONAL

You need to install a program needed for reading of Halcom certificate - Nexus Personal (for Windows Vista/7/8/8.1/10).

5. CONNECTION WITH E-BANK SERVER

In order to exchange data with E-Bank server, port 3600 needs to be opened (5600 for Montenegro) on your computer. To test the connection, look for instructions HERE.

6. SMART CARD READER

If your certificate is issued on a smart card, you need to have correctly installed and functioning smart card reader.
Halcom provides technical support for Omnikey and ACS smart card readers. You can find drivers HERE.
If you are using some other type of smart card reader, you must install it and set the drivers correctly by yourself, enabling the reader for working with certificates.
